After studying fine art, I began tattooing in Germany in 1995 and have eversince enjoyed collaborating
with clients,- which has introduced me to many different fashions and styles,
yet I particularly love the language of japanese art which today reflects in all my work.
In printmaking I am interested in the commonality of woodcarving, etching and tattooing. I currently strive to capture the beauty of permanently adorned skin, the tattoo process and its impact on an individual’s growth and identity.
For me, despite its recent popularity, tattooing remains mysterious…
the gore and the beauty - one in the same.Timeless and compelling.
